Chelsea’s elite clientele includes celebrities, athletes and dancers who are drawn to her hands-on, warm-hearted, fun, practical approach. Chelsea’s style of teaching is not to help people become a size “0”, but to be able to live a balanced healthy lifestyle and to inspire and motivate people to move. . She understands diet and exercise advice must be realistic for it to work. Her goal is to help you figure out what is most important to you and use your positive mental energy to turn those goals into a reality.  She will teach you tips and tricks you can incorporate into your daily life to make wellness a priority while still having time for your other responsibilities.

With over a decade of experience in her field, Chelsea helps clients learn concepts as opposed to simply teaching exercises. She works to tailor each session to a client’s individual needs and goals. She inspires her clients to take away what they learn in their sessions and apply it to their everyday lives.

Chelsea began her career as a Pilates teacher in Los Angeles after graduating with a B.A. in Writing and Dance from Bard College. Chelsea became a Pilates believer by experiencing it transform her own body. This transformation fueled her desire to learn and share this method with others. Her fist book, “Studio Shape Up” will be published February 12, 2019 and she is a frequent contributor to Prevention, Womens Health and Pilates Style Magazine.

Nourishment

The Mirbeau Dining Room offers global cuisine inspired by French speaking populations around the world. We use classic methods and source local, Finger Lakes organic, and regional produce, dairy and meats and focus on clean cuisine—no synthetics or preservatives–with healthful interpretations of classic French dishes.

Wellness & Spa

Lounge or nap in the resting room with heated foot pool, take in the herbal infused saunas, steam rooms, or the heated whirlpool spa with private bar in the Aqua Terrace. Also, take a complimentary exercise or yoga class or work out in the fitness center.

Mirbeau Resort

Mirbeau, loosely translated as “reflected beauty,” is inspired in part by the soft light, warm colors and introspective character found in the paintings of renowned French Impressionist Claude Monet. Mirbeau Inn & Spa was designed to evoke the warmth and comfort of a private French wine country estate and give you the feeling that you have truly “gotten away” even if you are only a few miles from home.

The Inn and its surrounding buildings and special gardens call to mind an old-world blend of casual elegance, unique and interesting architecture and classic pleasures. The chateau-like Inn and Spa buildings, including the four freestanding Cottages, replicate a private country estate that curves gracefully around the beautiful gardens and ponds inspired by Monet’s own gardens in Giverny, near Paris.

Check into your accommodations, explore Mirbeau Inn and Spa, relax and unwind. This is a good time to reflect on your personal goals for this retreat.

Meet and Greet Dinner

Dinner Discussion: What brought you here? In order to “Speed up by Slowing Down” we need to think of things we need to not focus on. Write down a couple things you don’t want to do (example – say sorry to much, take on too many appointments/meetings, etc.…)

Day 2

Morning

Post-Travel Pilates Class

Breakfast with Chelsea

Community Chat:  Setting goals that are meaningful and realistic.  Make a realistic schedule of what a perfect week/day would look like including work/family/me time/workouts/etc.…(example – if you hate working out at 5am then pick another more realistic time that would work for you mentally and physically.)

Dinner Discussion: To-Don’t List Making and how doing less will result in more! The To-Don’t list is a list of things you want to constantly focus on not doing & it will free up your schedule-so you can focus on the things that really matter without getting lost on those that don’t move you forward!
